A seagull flies low over my car and there are others. They have all come inland to shelter so stormy weather is sure to follow

A small black bird running across the road surrounded by cars. I take my foot off the accelerator as the moorhen dashes for the safety of the kerb.

I have kept one green shiny Christmas decoration which looks like a goblin.

With a few final stitches the postcard quilt is finished and ready to go out into the world with its poem.

A giant Moomin appeared from behind the shop counter, padded and riddiculous but somehow enchanting.

We follow the path to top of Ivinghoe Beacon, in the footsteps of thousands of ancestors and today, at least,  in the hoofprints of several shaggy higland cattle.
